Our Mission
The public libraries of Sumner County provide a variety of materials and services to aid all persons in their recreational, educational, and informational pursuits. Special emphasis is placed on the provision of current, high-demand materials for all ages and on the provision of supplemental materials for elementary and secondary students.

Obtaining a Library Card
A Library card will be issued to any resident of Sumner County at no charge. Identification showing the applicant’s current mailing address must be shown. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. New patrons may check out two items on their first visit. A $2.00 fee is charged to replace a lost Library card. A Library card MUST be presented to check out any Library materials.
